we are baaaaack…
Happy New Year everyone!
We have had a busy December here. First up was the packing....everything.
Then we had to move....everything. (well, that's 1/12th of "everything" in the picture)
What you move out, you must move in, right? And that is exactly what we did.
After being dog tired, we took a few days off to rest our achy bodies.
A few more mini trips and cleaning out the old workshop....
and cleaning....
and cleaning it some more...
We were finally ready for the next step. *UN*packing!
And now....finally, we are baaaaaack!
Still have some more unpacking and reorganizing, but we are very much "home" in our new 3 floor workshop. We sure could write a love poem about this place...perhaps in another blog post

Our newest hair goodness, gluten free and vegan dry hair shampoo with color!
Dry shampoo may sound like an oxymoron, but one thing is for sure, it works and works well. Water-less cleaning is in fact good for your hair and has been used long before commercial shampoos became available. Hair was washed less and was cleaned, colored as well as styled with powders.
Maranta Neutral is perfect for everyone, it contains no added (oxides and clay) color, while Cocoa and Coffee shades will cover up your pesky gray with ease. In between days, alternate and use Maranta rather than washing, errr, over-washing. It will soak up the oiliness you feel and the nourishing essential oil blend will gently deodorize your hair, leaving it feeling fresh.
Simply part your hair, sprinkle lightly (yes, less is more) and leave on for 1-2 minutes. Brush, shake it out and style as usual. Voilà, fresh hair, healthy scalp! Other perks include, extending the life of your blow out and adding tons of volume to your hair. Maranta Dry Shampoo is Gluten, Corn Starch and (drying + abrasive) Baking Soda free.

Eco-lovers, we have been going back and forth with sample sizes for a while now. You can say, we have traveled long and far. Finally we have reached our final destination on the sampling issue. A big thank you to Sue for our new compass, you rock!
Our mini travelers will make their debut shortly. For now, we are unpacking the labels and getting ready to bottle these globe trotters for you all.

Friends forever, celebrate true friends!
If asked, would you rather be rich (we are talking about billions of course) or have true friend/s, I would + could not hesitate and reply "friends".
To me, a friend is someone who would choose to be next to you, behind you, around you on your worst day. He/She would lift you up, make you see things clearer and tell you that he (she) is there with you, today, tomorrow and for as long as he can. He would always understand should you fail briefly to be present (e.g: forget returning a text message, e-mail, phone call...+) because you are riding life's tidal waves. He would cheer you on as you beat the odds, conquered your fears, overcome your obstacles and made your own path. And of course, should you have a party to celebrate, he would be there front and center.
As I mature, I cherish the importance of friends more and more. While I watch new people come into my life, I also watch my true friend stand tall and proud, always next to me...year after year. On my tired days, I know I can lean on him and that ultimately he accepts me as I am and understands me more than anyone else. 
Now, close your eyes and briefly imagine a world without plants + flowers. Feel the drabness, lifelessness? That is what life would be for you without friends.
Feel free to open your eyes and don't forget to be a friend in return.
Don't let petty daily things get in the way. Offer a hug and a smile even when things are rough between you -- a smile can melt icebergs + clear the way for you both. Often it is not personal, your friend has bad days/weeks/months too. Remember, a hug, a smile, a bottle of your favorite drink shared together will put you back on the track. As long as you are (both) willing to keep your heart(s) open, you will stay friends.
