I fell in love with the snow mushroom when I formulated a line for one of my green salon clients, and I have wanted to include it in a skincare product that targets TEWL, transepidermal water loss.

If you have been seeking a cleanser that can be the best of all worlds (light foam, profoundly hydrating without being cream-based, cleansing without stripping or irritating your tender skin), then the Snow Mushroom Hydrating Cleanser might fit the bill.
Snow mushrooms hold up to 450-500 times their weight, and when I have used it on my mature, thirsty, yet persnickety skin, the results were surprising. If I had to encompass the feeling in one word, I would choose relief.
Relief from tight, grumpy, dehydrated skin. Water loss is real as we get wiser and have the privilege of aging. Snow mushrooms, hyaluronic acid, and watermelon seed combo allow your skin to be cleansed gently, leaving it hydrated.
I highly suggest following up with a moisturizer to minimize the TEWL. My favorites are Blue Tansy Nourish Butter, the Bakuchiol Restorative Face Butter, and the Orange Blossom Elixir.
