A Note on Integrity: Why I’m Updating My Order Policy

At SEVI, I’ve always done things with care, intention, and transparency. Every product I make is the result of thoughtful formulation, small-batch production, and a deep commitment to the values this brand was built on— long before clean beauty was a trend.

Recently, we received an order that gave me pause. It came from a researcher at one of the largest personal care corporations in the world.

No introduction, no message — just a quiet order of one of my most specialized formulations, shipped directly to their corporate R&D center.

It was evident that this wasn’t a customer seeking care but a quiet acquisition of insight. While not entirely unexpected, it does present an opportunity to clarify how SEVI will move forward. 

Starting now, all first-time orders will be manually reviewed.

If you’re new here and genuinely interested in supporting this work, you’re absolutely welcome. However, I may reach out or choose not to fulfill an order based on its intent.

We are not about exclusivity — but we are all in when it comes to protecting the time, energy, and trust that built this business.

I’ve spent years formulating these products — often with my daughter nearby, long before she was old enough to understand what I was building. Our company is a labor of love and deserves to be handled with care — not quietly extracted by teams with unlimited resources.
