Shipping Changes

I wish I had better news for you all, but that will have to wait for a few weeks...forgive us!

It was a hard decision cutting USPS out of our shipping menu, however with growth we had to come to terms that orders with USPS were taking 3 times longer to process than UPS orders. Furthermore, with International orders, due to rising costs, we have had a lot of unhappy customers. Hence, we have decided to not only stop using USPS, but stop shipping Internationally. Currently we ship within US and to Canada only.

We may revisit International shipping again someday, but we are not too sure if we will be able to work with USPS unless the shipping software is more user friendly for the business owner with extremely little time.

We are aware that other small business may be able to offer this option successfully, however our business structure works very well with what UPS has to offer us.

Note: I just wanted to add that we were mainly using USPS for samples and only to offer our customer lower shipping fees on samples. However, USPS has raised their fees and orders that were below 1 lb and insured came to $6.55 with Priority Mail. We still want to offer some discount on samples and currently are shipping all sample orders below 1 lb with UPS for a flat rate of $6.25 within continental USA.

I really wish there was a happy medium, but one thing is clear to us -- you want your orders faster and with a microscopic staff, we need to automate as much as we can. Future may (and will) bring great things, we will evaluate everything and if we can offer you a better service or special, we will be sure to do just that!
