I guess this clarifies that we are going full force when it comes to eye colors. There will be some cuts, but I promise it won't sting that badly. We'll go over these some other day.

Ok, lastly. I am finding all sorts of neat little packaging now that our storage space is organized! I came across our old click pen style lip gloss containers and thought they would make the perfect sampling units for the new gloss formulation I finished.

Did you like how I slipped that new product formulation in? Well, I am glad I have not lost my zip.

After reading your notes and concerns, I have decided to up the formulation on the lipgloss and give it another whirl. They are here to stay, they are glossier, richer and have longer staying power. Mmmmm mmm good Green Mandarin lingers on briefly after application and then you are left with supple lips.

Orders ready to ship and new orders will get one of these freshly formulated plain glosses as a gift. Try it out and let me know what you think. Please note that the quantities are limited. I will do my best to stretch it out for as long as I can. You know me....fair play is the only way I know how to play the game

I finally finished the formula for our new Hair Styling Gel. If you love using gels, need light to medium hold, love to go natural and yet have something that truly is good for your hair, give it a try. It is boasting with organic infusion of nettle, horse chestnut, cornflowers, comfrey root + leaf. Blue Yarrow loves hair and hair loves it right back. Good stuff all around.

You will not have any white residue like some other "natural" hair styling gels or have real crunchy hair after dry down. I personally dislike both. Who really would?

I may add another hair styling gel as you all test drive this one. In the mean time, enjoy!

Ever since we started the people line (back in 2002), we have dealt with the sample issue - the right size, the correct packaging, the pricing, the unending battle of keeping them in stock, so on so forth.

Now, as our company goes through changes, we find ourselves wanting to lean towards a new kind of wind. One that will change the way we have been walking a little bit.

I promise you, change is what keeps us young. It is challenging, but happens to be the best anti-aging remedy I know.

With that said, here are some changes that may happen if the new wind decides to sweep us up.

Individual samples to be discontinued. We will offer kits that will have 6-10 different products. We will make x amount of kits every week and they will be packaged, so we won't be able to alter them at all (apologies in advance).

Reason: We have way too many products and we hand make them all. Trying to keep samples of each is slowing us down to a *halt*. Our water based products are hard to package in advance, we make things in small batches to insure freshness and it has been a steep hill trying to keep samples of them in stock. I have watched our turn around times climb and this is a major unhappy moment for us. And you as well. This new system will insure faster turn around times and be that perfect oil we need for our slightly thirsty gears here.

Moving on.

I want to hear your thoughts on mineral foundations. The MMU users here is your chance to give us your input.

Do you prefer loose powders to cream + tint based products?

Yes, you guessed it right. I am thinking about introducing a cream and perhaps a tint into the line. But this introduction may mean other changes to the loose powder line. So, we need to sleep on this some more.

i finally finished the new pumpkin seed shampoo (human testing and all) -- if i had one word to describe the end result. it would be moisturizing. if you allowed me two more, i'd choose soft + lovely.

the price has not changed, but the ingredients have slightly fluctuated. i know i forgot to mention that none of our shampoos contain citric acid any longer. this happened about 5 months ago, sigh, i have had not time to announce this!

the new ingredients are: Aqueous infusions of *comfrey root + leaf, yucca, rosemary, jaboncillo berry (soapwort), stinging nettle, horse chestnut, *Aloe Vera Leaf Juice, Decyl Polyglucoside, *Guar Gum, *Pumpkin Seed Oil, *Jojoba Oil, Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride, Gluconolactone, Sodium Benzoate, Sea Buckthorn Berry CO2, Essential Oils of Litsea Cubeba, Myrrh, Bay and Geranium.

we were hit real hard last week. 3+ feet of snow. and now...well, here comes blizzard part II. snow followed by rain, now more snow on top of 3+ feet of snow from last week. oh joy!

i tried to get some orders out yesterday, however our raw materials did not arrive to the shop (a few boxes got lost, one shipment from germany was held due to snow etc. etc.) so, i got very little done. plus postal service has not been able to get to our shop for pick ups, hence all orders that needed to go out with USPS is delayed further.

i will not be able to dig myself out for another 3 days at least, which means we are not going to be able to make into the sevi workshop. hopefully, our totally amazing neighbors will keep cleaning the streets, since county considers our very large street a dead end (it is NOT) and won't clean it. they consider all the roads leading up to our street a dead end as well apparently. hence many people are hiring contractors to clean the streets. in our case, we do our own freezing work.

please know that we will try our hardest to get to the shop and brew your products, however not having ups, usps or some of the raw material shipments will not help the matters. so, if you are waiting for an order, please hang in there. we will get all dug up and get back to work as soon as we can.
